I knew Rich from contra dancing. He was such a gentle spirit and seemed like such a caring person. I never exchanged more with him than a few words but he always left an impression of gentleness and peace that would resonate with me throughout the rest of the dance. I'm very sad that I won't be seeing him at any more dances but I'm sure his gentle presence will continue to be felt. He touched so many of us.
