Dear Cotrupi family,
I wanted to express my sympathy to you. As you all know I had Sam as a teacher at Rutland Town and he was my favorite teacher! He would pull me to the side and give me advice which made me feel special. He was a great teacher and even scary at times!
I was so lucky to become close friends with Lisa, Mindy and the rest of the family. I know he will be missed but is no longer in pain.
Thoughts are with you all,
Julie Johnson
Wish I could be there for the Celebration! xoxo

Dear Cotrupi family,
I wanted to express my sympathy to you all. I had him as a teacher in grade school and I still think of him often, even though it has been about 50 years (just goes to show the fond and lasting impression he made on me) He was one of those teachers who really did make a difference. He had a wonderful sense of humor and made learning fun, but could lay the law down if necessary.
Thoughts are with you all,
Denise Jenne

Anne and Family,
I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. Sam was a brave man, both as a soldier and veteran after the war. He was a confident, self-possessed person with a strong moral compass. He was a treasure who made me smile and will surely be missed.
More than just as a friend, I want to say how grateful I am as a fellow veteran for his service in WW II and serving our local community.
