Al Cardona Obituary


CARDONA, AL
Of Citrus Heights passed away at age 63 after a short struggle with cancer. He was born in El Salvador and grew up in San Francisco CA where he began his 45 year career in various aspects of real estate. Al will long be remembered for his passionate devotion to his family. He was a man of honor and chose kindness over being right. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Gloria, parents Bertha & Alvaro Cardona, sister Ana Cardona, brother Tony Cardona, sons Chris Cardona and Ray Cardona, daughter Cathryn Hunley, son-in-law Tom Hunley, daughter-in-law Judy Cardona, granddaughters Jennifer and Megan, grandson Brandon, and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Fri. Oct. 4, 2002, 11 AM at St. Elizabeth Church, 12th and S Street, Sacramento. In remembrance and in lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 1765 Challenge Way, STE 115, Sacramento CA 95815 or call 1-888-227-2345, or to the Law Enforcement Chaplaincy, 10388 Rockingham Dr., Sacramento, CA 95827.
