Albert Cornick Obituary

Albert H. Cornick Sr., AKA Hound Dog, born to Chancy and Edna Cornick on Sept 9, 1927 in Fresno, Calif. passed to a better place on Sept. 2, 2015. He almost made it to his 88th birthday! He is survived by his wife Judy L. Cornick, his sons Patrick and Al Jr., his daughters Shelley (Curtis) Clark and Judy F. Cornick. Preceded in death by daughter Lori Otten. Also survived by grandchildren Chancey (Katherine) Cornick, Carmen Smith and Tony (Jennifer) Otten and 4 great grandchildren, his cousin Bert (Helen) Cornick, brother in law, Rich (Julie) Wilcox and nephew, Brian Wilcox. Al was a lifetime member of Musicians Local 12 and a retired member of Teamsters Local 150, joining in 1955. Driving trucks was his passion as were all of his truck driving friends. He retired from Willig Freight Lines in 1989. At Al's request there will be no services. His belief was to come see me or send me flowers when I am alive. However, he would like you to have a shot of JD in his memory. Thank you to all who came to visit Al these last couple of years. He enjoyed those visits so much. And by the way, Happy Birthday Babe!
