Albert DeVoe Obituary
DEVOE, Albert Heath
Originally from Bristol, PA, Al passed away at the age of 81. He is survived by Betty, his wife of 54 years; children Karen (Jim) Ford, Jane DeVoe, Barbara (Bob) DeVoe-Peterson and Tim DeVoe; grandchildren Wesley and Katherine DeVoe-Peterson; and brothers James & William. Al was a licensed Land Surveyor, who taught at Sierra College and was a member of the Blue Devils 88th Infantry with whom he served in North Africa & Italy. He participated in Sac Valley Soaring Society and was a Smoke Jumper in the early years. He also belonged to the Carmichael VFW, Post 5324, and his dedication in the last years was the Historical Folsom Chinese Cemetery. All are invited to a memorial service at 11:00 AM on Saturday, Sept. 25, at Trinity Cathedral Church, 2620 Capitol Avenue, Sacramento, CA 95816. Remembrances may be sent to China Mission/Chung Wah Cemetery, 120 Biscayne Way, Folsom, CA 95630, or the charity of your Choice. REICHERT'S FUNERAL SERVICE - DIRECTORS.
