Alice Wiseman Obituary
Born December 3, 1919 in Orland, California and died in Sacramento on June 27, 2005. Alice was raised in Folsom, California and graduated from Folsom High School, Sacramento Junior College and San Jose State College where she received her teaching credential and was a member of the Allenian Society. During the Second World War, she taught school in Vallejo, California, which included children relocated from Hawaii following the attack on Pearl Harbor. Alice was preceded in death by her husband of more than fifty years, Dr. Orland Wiseman, M.D. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Wiseman Leonard, and her husband Nicolas; Lewis Wiseman, his wife Marie, and granddaughters Erika and Kristine; and by her many friends made over the years as an active member and officer of the Sacramento Medical Society, and member and volunteer of the Sacramento Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA). An interment service will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 30th, at East Lawn Cemetery. Remembrances may be sent to the SPCA.
