Alice Yee

YEE, ALICE
Was born on October 5, 1923 in Sacramento, and passed away on January 12, 2003. The Beloved wife of Samuel S. Yee, Loving Mother of the late Ronald S. Yee, Leslie Yee and his wife Sherrie, and Marilyn Yee-Cabral and her husband Robert. Grandmother of Douglas & Jeffrey Yee, Alex, David & Mitchell Cabral. Devoted Sister of Sam Lee, the late Leon Lee, the late Richard Lee, all of Sacramento; Florence Ng of San Francisco, Doris Wong of Monterey Park, the late Mary Chen of Manhattan Beach, Flora Wong of San Francisco, Roy Lee of Davis and Leta Wiers of West Sacramento. She leaves numerous Nieces and Nephews. She attended Confucius School, Lincoln Jr. High School, Sacramento High School and Sacramento City College. She began her working career at McClellan AFB and shortly thereafter was employed by the Corps of Engineers. She started another career working for the State of California in 1968. In 1969 she was hired on permanently with the Student Aid Commission. She retired after 15 years of dedicated state service in 1987. Friends are respectfully invited to attend Memorial Services on Saturday, January 25 at 2:00 PM in the LAND PARK CHAPEL OF HARRY A. NAUMAN & SON, 4041 Freeport Blvd. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Asian Community Nursing Facility, 7801 Rush River Drive. Sacramento, 95831 or a favorite charity of donor's choice in her memory.
