Tina:

Alvin was the kindest soul I ever knew, from Jr. High through High School it was always wonderful to call him a real friend. I think of him often and I will always have a prayer for you and your boys.

Alvin:

We have known each other forever, I will never forget you and know you are in a place that is so wonderful, yes, having a great time with Eric and watching over your families and friends. Until we meet again, you have peace and everlasting love. You are the kindest person I have ever known. You are and will always be missed on this earth.

In the short amount of time that I knew Alvin, I can only say how much I enjoyed his company. I found him to be a very honest, warm and caring person who loved his family very much. He had a great personality and sense of humor. He always kept me laughing. A loving family man he was...Everything he did, it was for his family. He will be truly missed at the Sacramento Proctor and Gamble plant by all who knew him. God Bless you my good friend as you continue on to the rest of your journey .My heart goes out to his family and to his mom and dad. He will be truly missed, Kenneth Duran Sacramento

I am deeply sorry for your loss. I first met Alvin in the 9th grade. He at McClatchy and I at Kennedy. He was the nicest person. I will always remember Alvin blasting the song"Firecracker"in the Mustang. He would play it over and over and over. It would get on my nerve, but then he would give you that contagious smile and you would forget all about it. Alvin recently found me on classmates.com and he mentioned that he had a wonderful wife and kids. You guys were truly blessed to have such a wonderful husband and father. And I was truly blessed to have him as a friend.

Carol and Tommy, there are no words to ease a pain like the one you are experiencing. Lean on the Lord. He too knows the pain of losing a son. You will be with him again one day in Heaven, and what a joyous reunion that will be. There is never an explanation to why some go so soon....please just believe in God's plan for us and Alvin. My heart, love and prayers are with you and his family.

My heart goes out to Alvin's Family and my deepest sympathies. I worked closely with Alvin for many years at P&G and did alot of traveling with him thru work. His joking and allways positive attitude pulled me thru many a night and many a project. He was by far one of my deerest friends at P&G and his passing saddens me to no end.
