Dear Peter and Family:
Your mother/grandmother is at peace now. Peter, you and Holly did everything possible to make her final time good by taking her into your home and taking good care of her. You did what many others, including us, didn't do, but I think we all have to make the best decisions for ourselves and our loved ones.
The path of taking care of our parents is never easy, just as it wasn't so easy sometimes when they were taking care of us when we were children. They did their level best, just as we do ours when it's time for them to be the children and us to be the adults.
You will be rewarded for all that you did.
May peace be with each of you as your mourn--each of you in a different way and different length of time. We know that your mom/grandmother will be missed and will always be in your hearts.
