Annie Gee Obituary

Annie K. Gee
May 3, 1926 - May 28, 2023
Sacramento, California - Annie K. Gee passed away peacefully on May 28, 2023, several weeks after celebrating her 97th birthday. She was born on May 3, 1926 in Toisan, China, the youngest of four children. Annie has resided in Sacramento for over 55 years. She was the beloved wife of the late Arnold Gee. She leaves behind nephews, nieces, extended family, friends and was known as "Auntie" to many.
Annie cherished fellowship with her bible study group from Laguna Baptist Church and made many life-long friends. Among those friends, they travelled the world to places which included Australia, Europe, Asia, the pyramids of Egypt, and took numerous cruises.
Our "Auntie" will be missed dearly for her smile, her gentle loving nature, thoughtfulness and generosity.
Special thanks to Yanya Huang, Alice Yan and Sherry Xue from Caregivers of Land Park for their support and compassionate care of our beloved "Auntie Annie".
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 9, 2023 at 1:00pm
East Lawn Memorial Park, 4300 Folsom Blvd., Sacramento.
Entombment to follow.

Auntie Annie is part of my childhood memories. She was one of the aunties who prepared the Gee Sunday dinners/lunches every week for all of us. She was always helpful and so good natured. I spent a lot of time rolling yuan balls alongside her for New Years for the special soup and learning how to wrap Chinese tamales with her. Thank you for being such a wonderful part of our family and memories. Love, Robin Gee, George Gee's daughter who lived next door to Grandma Gee
