Anthony Lucchesi Obituary

Anthony "Tony" Fred Lucchesi
July 6, 1974 - October 29, 2022
Woodland, California - Tony Lucchesi passed away on October 29, 2022 at the age of 48 after a brief illness. Tony was born on July 6, 1974 in Sacramento, CA to Fred and Linda Lucchesi. Throughout his youth in the College Greens neighborhood, Tony was a popular and outgoing personality. He was a proud athlete and competed in swimming, soccer and high school football. After graduating from Sacramento High School in 1992, Tony attended and played football for Butte College. He moved to Woodland, CA where he lived, worked, and raised his family.
Tony was a loyal son and brother, and he will be greatly missed in the family circle. He had many close lifelong friends with whom he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and trading insults about the 49ers vs his Raiders. Always happy in a well-stocked shop with plenty of tools and a dog by his side, Tony enjoyed working on cars, woodworking, and metalwork. With his infectious smile and memorable laugh, he loved sharing jokes and pop culture references, and was always quick to send just the right meme. In recent years, Tony and his girlfriend Lori enjoyed spending time in Bodega Bay, near the ocean that he loved.
Tony had three sons (with former wife Traci) who he loved deeply. He supported their activities in many ways from coaching their first flag football teams, to taking them on many deer hunts and memorable fishing trips. Tony was exceptionally proud that each of his boys joined different branches of the military to serve our country.
Tony is survived by his children Anthony, Dominick (Selené), and Rocco; partner Lori David and her children Maddie and Hunter; father Fred Lucchesi; siblings Rusty (Denise) Lucchesi, Angela (Tony) Karren, and Laura (Rob) Wieking; nieces and nephews Elizabeth (Brady), Sarah, Jonah (Taylor), Abby (David), Nate, Leah, Luke, Colin, Courtney, Quinton, and Amber. He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Lucchesi.
A celebration of Tony's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the USO are appreciated.
