Anthony ZUNIGA Obituary
ZUNIGA, Anthony 'Tony' E.
Born Aug. 15, 1950 in Sacramento, CA; peacefully passed away at home Dec. 19, 2011 in Sacramento at the age of 61. A graduate of Norte Del Rio high school and UC Davis, Tony spent his life volunteering in Ethiopia through the Peace Corps and working in Health Services for the state of California. A faithful follower of the Lord, Tony accepted Jesus Christ as His savior in 1981 and was an active member of NorthCity Church in Natomas. Tony is survived by 'his angel' Katherine; mother Pauline; brother Mark; son Armando; grandchildren Armando, Jr., Alexxus, and Micayla; and stepdaughters Aimee and Kristin. Now home with the Lord, Tony will be missed by family, friends, and fellow church members. A memorial service will be held Wed. Jan. 4 from 10-11:30am at East Lawn, 5757 Greenback Lane, Sacramento CA. Remembrances in Tony's name may be made to the SPCA, 6201 Florin Perkins Rd. Sacramento, CA 95828.

I'm sorry to learn of Tony's passing. He was a very nice man and co-worker. I always told him that he was one of he best dressed men in the Food and Drug Branch.

I'm heartbroken to learn Tony has passed... But know that he's resting now & w/our Heavenly Father. He was encouraging, spiritual & a devout believer. He was a positive friend who always gave hugs & well wishes. Having worked w/Tony at DHS was a tru blessing. We are better because of you.... Gracias amigo

I truly enjoyed working with Tony at Health Services. He was a bright-spot in our office and always made the working days a better place.
