MUNGUIA, Arthur N.

Arthur N. Munguia was born on April 12, 1931 in Walsenburg, Colo., and was taken to his eternal home on January 6, 2014. Loving husband to Ruby L. Munguia and father to 7 children: Ruben (Camille), Robin (Art), Bennie (Simi), Elizabeth (Tommy), Kenneth (Laura), Gary (Janis), and Chris (Terry). Survived by 15 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, Arthur was loved by many brother & sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends. A rosary will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2014, 6pm, at Andrews & Greilich Mortuary. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 15, at 10am, All Hallows Church, 5501 14th Ave. Interment at St. Marys Cemetery; reception to follow at All Hallows.

Uncle Art, just the mention of your name conjours up smiles and laughs because of the person you were. You always made me feel special and unique in everything we did together growing up. Uncle Arthur, all of the funny crazy things you used to do to make me laugh since I was a little kid makes you unforgettable in my heart and mind. Thank you for blessing me with your humor as well as your love, but most of all putting up with me every summer that I spent a week at your house playing and getting into trouble with the rest of your kids, and I can't forget the trips you would take me and Chris on behind KMart, buying us candy and soda while you looked for your treasures.
