RODRIGUEZ Driscoll, Texas Ricardo C. Rodriguez, 85, of Driscoll, Texas left peacefully to be with the Lord, in his home, surrounded by loved ones on Sunday, October 30, 2011. He is now re-united with his late wife, Rosa, and they will now be watching over all those they loved. Ricardo was born in Premont, Texas on January 5, 1926 to Benito and Louisa Rodriguez. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Driscoll, a member of Padres de Familia and of Sociedad Cuauhtemoc. He worked in construction for Heldenfels. Ricardo loved gardening, music, and playing dominoes. Mr. Rodriguez was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who will be missed by all of his family and friends.He is preceded in death by his wife, Rosa Gomez Rodriguez, and son Baby David Rodriguez. He is survived by his children, Lee (Cid) Zavala of Riviera, Texas, Ernest (Juanita) Rodriguez, Dora (Tim) Revis, and Rick (Odilia) Rodriguez all of Corpus Christi, Texas, Mary Jane (Robert Trevino) Perez and Anita (Isidoro) Camacho both of Driscoll, Texas. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, two brothers, Ildefonzo Rodriguez and Domingo (Irma) Rodriguez; and two sisters, Maria (Juan) Landa and Victoria Rivera.A rosary will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at Ramon Funeral Home Chapel in Robstown, Texas. The Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at 12:00 p.m. at St. James Catholic Church in Driscoll, Texas with burial to follow at De La Luz Cemetery in Driscoll, Texas.
