Blaine Clark Obituary


CLARK, Blaine R.
Born May 18, 1922 in Garland, Utah. Passed away on February 18, 2005 at age 82. A WWII Veteran with the US Navy. He was later a cost accountant/computer programmer at McClellan AFB and was a longtime resident of Sacramento, CA. His loving wife, Margene D. Clark, of 56 years survives him along with son Gregory G. Clark, daughters Pamela A. Anderson-McBride and Cynthia L. Clark, grandchildren Airial J. Clark and Blaine W. McKelvey, and great grandchildren Ethan Hill and Clinton Hill. He is also survived by his brother Don A. Clark, his sisters Joyce Riches, Shirley Glaus, and Fae Evans, all of Salt Lake City, Utah, and many other family members. He is preceded by his brother Thomas M. Clark, his sister Jerrilyn Black, his father George A. Clark, and his mother, Eunice T. Clark. He was a loving husband and father who enjoyed building and flying model airplanes with his grandson, taking safari's to the ocean and the mountains, dancing with his wife, playing the piano, and listening to violinist, Andre Rieu. He also enjoyed the History Channel on TV and the wonders of nature. His love and sense of humor will be greatly missed. A Memorial Service and Reception will be held on Friday, March 4, 2005, at 1:00PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints located at 761 Rio Tierra Drive, Sacramento, CA for his family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances can be made to the UC Davis Medical Heart Center, Dept of Health Sciences at 2315 Stockton Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95817-9956.
