Boyd Holdeman Obituary
Passed away peacefully May 28, 2006 at the age of 92. Born July 8, 1913 in South Bend, Indiana, he was a 51 year resident of Sacramento. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Nelson, Lois, and Roscoe; first wife, Leota Holdeman, second wife, Pauline Holdeman; and step-daughter, June Bensinger. He is survived by his dear sister, Verna Howe, nine loving step-children, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He retired from McClellan AFB after many years of faithful service with the Federal government. A member of the Greatest Generation, a veteran of World War II, he will be laid to rest with honors at the Golden Gate National Cemetary in San Bruno, Friday, June 2, at 12:00 PM.
