Of Citrus Heights, CA, November 1, 2013, a native of Sacramento, age 25 years. Loving husband of Amanda August. Cherished father of Thomas Metzger, Lisa August and Izabel August. Son of Toby and Deora August and grandson of Allen Whetstone. Brother of Benjamin (Melissa) August, Byron (Amanda) August, Tiffany (Kevin) Kratzer, Stephanie (Brandon) Cofran, Natalie (Jordan) August and Spencer (Kayla) August. 2007 Graduate of San Juan High School. Friends are welcome for visitation Thursday, November 7, 2013 from 4-8PM at PRICE FUNERAL CHAPEL (6335 Sunrise Blvd, 725-2109) and are invited to attend services Friday 1PM at the CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS, Citrus Heights Ward Chapel (8056 Oak Ave, Citrus Heights). Interment Sylvan Cemetery.

Think about you all the time. You know that. Its that time of year again, you are very missed. I wish i could hear you and see you again and go back to old times when you would try to squirt milk out of your eye like the guy on TV. and Jordan would call you Uncle B. We celebrated Thanksgiving with your family again this year and I could sense and emptiness with you not there but knew you were there in spirit. Your wife and children are holding up well and were thankful for being surrounded with all the love a family can provide. We all missed you and know you'll have the Lord keep an eye on your family. you were a good man you are gonna be missed, you were a good friend to many people. we were not great friends in high school but every time we did end up talking you were a funny guy, when i was on the football team with you and was one of the slow guys you always helped me out and cheered me on to give it my best. From the moment my little sis introduced me to you some years ago, I knew she was in good hands. I have always been very protective of her but felt at ease knowing that she had a real man in her life. I for one will never forget the impact he has made in her life and I am very saddened it had to be so short lived. We are saddened when we learned of his asthma attack and trauma that occurred which was too devastating for his body to recover. Our heart and prayers go out to Amanda and their child which we will continue to pray for during this difficult times and know he will be missed by all but never forgotten. He will always be remembered as fun loving father and devoted husband. He will leave a void that will be difficult to fill. Only time will mend the heart for someone so special. He will join other relatives to wait for the day we will alll be together and msy he rest in peace.
