Brent Booth Obituary

Brent Lewis Booth

August 27, 1934 - June 29, 2024

Roseville, California - Brent Lewis Booth was born in Oakland, California on August 27, 1934. His parents were Herbert and Florence Booth. His sister, Anita, is less than two years younger than Brent, and the two remained close all their lives.

On September 18, 1955, Brent married Ina Mae Auburg in Vancouver, Washington. He graduated from Oregon State University, Corvallis with a degree in Civil Engineering in 1956.

As a civil engineer, Brent was involved in managing the construction of many of the major freeways in northern California. Brent also managed the construction of large dams in Venezuela and Chile, numerous large projects in Saudi Arabia, and the excavation of tar sands in Alberta, Canada. Although Brent officially retired in 1996, he continued to be an engineering consultant for subsequent years.

While hard working, Brent always found time for family, friends and for church activities. Brent entered Heaven on June 29, 2024. He is mourned and loved by his wife, Ina Booth and sister, Anita Saalfeld; children Janice and Jan Lynch, George and Dennie Booth, Cathy Booth, and Min Booth; grandchildren Laura Frederick, Holly Tomlinson, David Martin, Tiffany Van Camp, Justin Booth, and Steven Martin; and twelve great-grandchildren.

A memorial service to honor Brent Lewis Booth will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 2, 2024, at Fair Oaks Church, 11427 Fair Oaks Blvd. Fair Oaks, CA 95628.
