Bruce Weaver Obituary


WEAVER, Bruce
Passed away May 28, 2008 in his home in Rio Linda. He was born Bruce Dwayne Weaver in Sulphur, Oklahoma on March 18, 1950 to Buck and Laura Weaver. He was best known for being one of the nicest guys in town, and a great businessman, Father, Husband and Grandpa. He never failed to help someone out when he could whether it was his family, friends or by sponsoring the local little league. He also enjoyed raising his "babies," or Rottweilers and he took great pride in breeding beautiful dogs. He and his bride, Sandra of 17 years, own and operate California RV and have been one of the leading rental and repair shops as well as fulfilling vacation dreams in Sacramento for 19 years. California RV also facilitated the senior flu clinic and sponsored a race car for the MMRA which produced a 1st place trophy recently. Bruce was preceded in death by a daughter PJ, a son Tyler, and his father Buck Weaver. His survivors include his wife Sandra, his mother, Laura Weaver of Vancouver, WA; siblings Linda Long, Cheryl Lickar and Janette Long also of Vancouver WA; his children, Bruce Daniel, Greg, Kristina, David, Lisa Marie, Brad, Riley, and Matt, 13 grandchildren and 8 Rotties. All who knew him will miss Bruce. A family memorial was held at California RV on May 31st.

I can't beleive my uncle Bruce is gone. I so cherish the one on one time we had when he was here last. I love you uncle Bruce. Take care of PaPa!

It's so difficult to believe that you are really gone. You've been the best brother anyone could have. Good times and bad, you always loved those in your life. I will cherish the memories of my beloved brother. I know you are in God's presence and you and dad are together again. I thank God for His Grace and Salvation thru Jesus Christ. I will love you forever.
