Bryan Gary Phillips

1962 - 2017

It is with great sadness that the family of Bryan Phillips announces his passing on December 18, 2017 after a long illness. Bryan is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Stephanie, and his three sons Justin, Brandon, and Nick. Bryan was born on September 7, 1962 in Sacramento, California to his loving parents, Bud and Beverly Phillips. He was the youngest of three children, including his sister, Deborah, and brother, David. With the support of his brother David, he co-owned a successful business in Phillips Painting and Decorating. Bryan was also supported by his in-laws, Don and Billie Selby, as well as brother-in-law, Don Selby Jr. and wife, Karen. Bryan was always known for putting his family first. He always stood behind and supported each niece (Heather, Marissa, and Melanie) and nephew (Chris, Buddy, and Michael). Bryan always made every situation lighter with his big heart and caring mind. May he rest in peace with his father, sister, and father in-law. "We will see you on the other side of the stars"- your loving family. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 13th, 2018 from 11am-3pm at: Kobasic's Hall, 5324 Riverside Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95822.
