You are my hero and my best friend. You never gave up the fight, but heaven needed an amazing and beautiful angel. You have taught me well through the years and I always listened. I will continue to make you proud and carry pride in our Delgado name. All the extreme love and passion you had for running..it is inside of me. I will take you with me in every step I take, every breath I make and every best of my heart. I will miss the conversations we had and the way we would laugh together making jokes that one you and I thought were funny. I will miss watching sports on TV together where we wouldn't say a word to each other, but talk back to the TV thinking the players could hear us and that we could do a much better job. There are so many wonderful memories that I have locked in my mind, heart and soul that I take with me. One day...we will meet again, Handsome! On that day, you better be prepared to go on a run with me. I just hope you can keep up. I love you beyond measurement and I will miss you constantly. I love you, Pops!

Dear Sylvia, regretfully, I never met your father...but I feel like I knew him through you. He was obviously a loving, kind and generous man....a treasure. I know this because I know you are your father's daughter. May God bless you and your family and bring you peace. My thoughts and prayers to all of you.

I've always thought highly of Uncle Camilo; how could I not? He was the sweet, kind brother of the finest lady ever--my mom Lucy. Their temperaments were so much alike. Just plain kindness, love, generosity, support, fun, and gentleness.
I miss you Camilo and I feel for the heartache and loss your family is going through. We all will remember you with love in our hearts. Thank you for being the decent, kind man you always were.
