Aug 7, 1926-July 5, 2005
After a short battle with cancer, he left quietly in his sleep. Son of the late Martin and Katharina Acker, loving husband of Joyce. Devoted father of Cathy (Charlie), the late Gary, and daughter-in-law Carol, and grandfather of Johnny and Franchesca. He spent 33 years in the lifesaving service of Sacramento City Police & Fire Dept. He had many hobbies and loved his trips to Reno. Dared to be Different. No services. Donations to: Kaiser Hospice 2025 Morse Ave., Sacramento, CA. 95825.
