Sacramento, California - Carmelita Calindas, 77, passed away on December 7, 2020 due to complications from COVID-19. She was born in the Philippines and came to the United States in 1967. She retired from the federal government. She is survived by her husband, Federico; daughter, Carmela; son, Frederic; son in law, Darren; daughter in law, Teresita; granddaughters, Caitlin, Lauren, Raven, Natalee Rose, Elizabeth Grace, and grandson, Alexander. Carmelita will be dearly missed and her love will be forever cherished! Services for the family will be held at Mount Vernon Memorial Park on January 15, 2021.
