Oh how I will miss my dear friend Caroline. My heart is very saddened and I send my deepest sympathies to her family & daughters. Caroline was such a unique, beautiful and loving person, always looking for the best in others and offering encouragement, love and smiles. It is still hard for me to believe she's gone. I read this poem and thought of her:
A LETTER FROM HEAVEN
To me dearest family, some things I'd like to say. . .
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon, and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
"It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you...in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember ther would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night...."My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented...that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet sombody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick them up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go...from that body to be free,
remember you're not going...you're coming here to me!
There is NO doubt in my mind that Caroline is in heaven and an angel. Love & Peace to all she touched in her time here!

I think of you so often the last few days. I can't believe I'll never talk to you or see you or get a hug from you again. I know, though, that you are with the angels now and in perfect health. I love you and will never forget you. Your friend always.

Such sadness to think I wont see you again,
It's hard to believe you're gone.
I wont hear your laughter, nor hear your voice
but sweet memories of you will carry-on.
Today a sad tear rolls down my cheek,
your life was cut short much too soon.
But, know this dear Cousin Caroline
you live on in the hearts of those you knew.
Etched on my heart is your smile,
and all of your kind hearted ways.
I'll never forget your free spirited style,
even after the tears all fade away.
My Cousin I bid farewell to you,
you're now in a much better place.
No pain, nor tears or sadness
in the arms of His Holy Grace.
I love you and I'll miss you.

My thoughts and prayers are with my dear friends the Najar family.
Take comfort in the knowledge that Carolina is now in the arms of our beloved, Lord Jesus. No more sorrows, no more cares, just peace like a river that will flow through out eternity!
Love, Hugs, and frienship forever!

Back in the 80's and early 90's, Caroline was like a sister to me. We lost touch, but I'll never forget her for who she was...This is a poem Caroline wrote on July 3, 1990.
Friendship is a priceless gift that can't be bought or sold, but it's value is far greater than a mountain made of gold.
For gold is cold and lifeless it can neither see nor hear and in the time of trouble it is powerless to cheer.
It has no ears to listen no heart to understand it can't bring you comfort or reach out a helping hand.
So when you ask God for a gift, Be Thankful if He sends: not diamonds, pearls or riches, but the Love of Real True Friends.
I wrote one back for her.
You are the one they speak of when times seem impossible- they need your wisdom, understanding and most of all the philospohical (theory).
You tend to know them deep within thier own hearts -exchanging words of wisdom, never accusation darts.
You listen to what they have to say -never minding if they take your whole day.
It has been said you were put here to guide and help those in need -we're the ones who profit from your expense deed.
Don't ever think you are not wanted, needed or Loved -Cuz you are... your rewards will come from up above.
My prayers to the family and to all those who knew Caroline.

To my niece Caroline, even tho we did not spend time together I want to say that deep down inside I seen a very special person that was loving and caring. You had a heart of gold that touched many hearts. You were always high in spirits and always a smile upon your face. My prayers are with you.
