Carolyn McBride Obituary

Carolyn J McBride - Born on January 11, 1954 in Deadwood, South Dakota. She lived at 413 E Main, Lead, South Dakota, behind the water hole that washed the gold. Her father was a gold miner. She was named after 'The Birds' 'Christmas Carol'. Her grandmother, Gertrude wrote a letter 'if a name had not been picked Grandpa Ben thought Maxine was a good name'. She was baptized on May 23, 1954 at the Methodist Church in Lead, SD. She grew up in the suburbs of Denver, Colorado. Later in her adult life, she moved her family to Sacramento, CA in September 1988. She was gainfully employed by an independent Phone Company in Roseville, CA for 17 years. She enjoyed her family and traveling. She is survived by her children. Tanya Warren, Mark & Suzie McBride of Folsom and Ryan Powell of Citrus Heights, 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandkids.

The family will gather for an internment of ashes at Lakeside Memorial Lawn on Sunday, September 14th at 10:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Sacramento SPCA in Carole's name.

To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
