Catherine Elizabeth O'Hara "Betty" ADAMS

ADAMS, Catherine Elizabeth O'Hara Known as Betty, died peacefully at Eskaton Fountainwood Lodge in Orangevale, CA, April 4, 2015. Betty, originally from San Francisco and a longtime resident of Walnut Creek was preceded in death by her husband Tim Adams. She is survived by her brother Gerald O'Hara and her 9 children, her daughters Jerrilynn Adams Rudacil, Kathy Adams and her 7 sons Tim, Dennis (Patti), Michael (Christine), Daniel, Brian (Denise), Jim (Jennifer) and Stephen (Vicki) Adams. Betty, 89 was the proud grandmother of Brian, Christa, Nick, Aaron, Nathan, Emily, Sam, Ryan, Sean, Zach, Jonathan and Madeline. She was the great-grandmother of Alexandra, Thomas, Rolin and Marselis and great-great-grand-mother of Zoe Jade. Betty and her Navy husband, traveled to Alaska, Hawaii and the coast of California before settling in Walnut Creek. Betty was known for being a devoted mom, a Teresian with the Catholic Church and for the outstanding job managing news carriers for the Contra Costa Times. Betty, an excellent seamstress since her youth worked with her husband making hand crafted 'Timmy Turtle' stools for children sold at art and craft fairs throughout California for several years. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Friends are welcome for visitation Friday April 10, 2015, from 4-8PM with a Holy Rosary at 6PM, at PRICE FUNERAL CHAPEL (6335 Sunrise Blvd., Citrus Heights, 725-2109) and are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial Saturday April 11, 2015 10AM at ST. STEPHEN CATHOLIC CHURCH (1101 Keaveny Ct., Walnut Creek). Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
