O'MEARA, Christine Anne
''Tina''
Born July 24, 1942 in Utica, NY, the 2nd of 7 children born to Rex and Genevieve Wood. Having battled pancreatic cancer for 5 years, Tina's soul was escorted by angels to be with Jesus and Heaven's eternal life on October 24, 2010. Beloved wife for 27 years of Mike O'Meara. Beloved mother of Scott Hyman & wife Gloria, and Julie Hyman; stepmother of Shannon & Shane O'Meara; 2 grandchildren and 4 step-grandchildren. Tina is survived by 6 brothers and sisters. Tina taught freshman English at Oak Ridge High School for 23 years. Friends are invited to attend her Memorial Service on Monday, Nov. 8 at 4:30pm at Rolling Hills Church, 800 White Rock Rd., El Dorado Hills, CA 95762. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be sent to Help Mito Kids, Inc., P.O. Box 5154, El Dorado Hills, CA 95762, or donate online at:

Wow Mom! I can't believe it's been 10 years. I still think of you every day, and miss you so much. It seems like yesterday since we've spoken. Mrs. O'Meara was a wonderful teacher to me. I enjoyed her and learned a lot from her. Part of my love of English is because of her. I am so sad to hear the news. Thoughts & prayers to the O'Meara family.
