Christopher Raza Obituary

Christopher Michael Raza was born April 9, 1987 in Carmichael, CA. To know Christopher was to know true happiness, his laughter was infectious and his will for helping others was more than admirable. His love for the outdoors and all of the adventure that came along with it is something that everyone should strive for, unfortunately it was this love for the crazier things in life that caused his untimely death in an off road vehicle accident on March 27, 2015. Christopher worked for Myers and Sons Construction as a Pile Driver Apprentice. He was always pushing himself to further his knowledge in order to excel in his career. Christopher was survived by his father Chris N. Raza (pops), his mother Lynda Kahn (Raza), and his step-father Dave Kahn; his sister Shaylene Cornelison and niece Samiya Albert, brother Wesley Cornelison; girlfriend Danielle Allen; step brother David Kahn and step sisters Cassidy and Danielle Kahn; grandfathers Pete Raza and Ronald Vierra, grandmothers Birdie Vierra and Harriet Raza; his many aunts, uncles, cousins and all of his amazing friends. He was preceded in death by his aunt Kelly Raza; Grandmothers Marilyn Hall and Val Gutenberger; grandfathers William Gutenberger and Keith Hall and his best friend Shane Gray. An open memorial will be held at the Orangevale Community Center from 4:00pm-7:00pm with a short service beginning at 4:30pm on April 7, 2015 at 6826 Hazel Avenue, Orangevale, CA 95662.

Our time here on earth is short lived, some shorter than others. To live with no regrets is a way of life, it's a choice, and a bold one! Christopher lived as bold and vivaciously as anyone could...I really look forward to our reunion in the clouds at a later time...yet to be determined.
Christopher was loving, we should all live that way..
I know Jesus Loves the Loving...and that my friends is what really matters while we are here.
May God continue His Love for us until our big gathering up in the clouds.
What an event that will truly be!!

The BMX world will miss you. You were a young inspiration to many at Oak Creek. Growing up and becoming the man you were, you still inspired us bmxers these days. Little Raza, ride with the angels. Spread them wings and fly over the jumps.

Man Raza. I really wish I could see u and this all just be a bad nightmare, but I know I have to face the truth. That truth is, the good Lord needed u more then us I guess. It really hurts and I just want u to know that I loved u like a brother and u will be missed dearly. I guess God knew he needed someone like u. So spread those beautiful angel wings and fly high brother. Until we meet again Rest in Paradise Raza. My thoughts and prayers go out to ur family

I'm truly in shock and disbelief - I was blessed to assist Chris in the purchase in his first home and became very fond of him. He was a kind soul with big dreams and goals. My heart goes out to his family as I know he has touched my heart in just the short time we spent together.
