My heart goes out to Luther and the family after hearing of the passing of Claire. I do not know the family and read about them while waiting for a report to run on the Bloomberg. I found the courage to Google and find out the latest news. Through my tears, I send you my deepest sympathy. I hope that you keep your memories of Claire deep within your heart to help you through these difficult times.

In December of last year, memories came of taking Luther's former employee to an interview for a job with Luther. I had met Luther and Claire at a friend's home when a farewell luncheon was arranged for a mutual friend moving to Iowa.
The more I thought about them the more I felt a need to pray. It had been years since I had seen or even ask about them. All I prayed was that God would sustain them and give them strength to face what they need to go through in His power. I soon learned of their situation. They needed a miracle. God sustained, He still works miracles! Praying for Luther and the family.

I have a lot of memories of Claire, going with her to see her horse and help clean up the leftovers, talking to her at church, having her and Forrest come to one of Jesse's birthday parties, her bringing me a bag of clothes, her helping me when I was sick bringing me a natural drink that gave me a tremendous boost, offering to go to a doctor's appointment with me, seeing her at Bible study at her house, helping out with her care and housework from time to time. She always welcomed me into their home. Luther has been a good friend for a long time as well.
