Clara "Jerry" Corelli

CORELLI, Clara ''Jerry''
Age 88, passed away on May 30, 2007. She is survived by her husband Victor, her daughter Pat Boncella, and her grandson, Nick Pletcher. For many years, Jerry gave generously of her time and energy to Saint Lawrence Catholic Church in North Highlands. She was active in the Altar Society and the Italian Catholic Federation, and also taught catechism. Jerry was a dedicated mother, grandmother, and wife. She made life easier for her family. She always belonged to the PTA and served as room mother for her daughter's classroom. She helped to raise her grandson by providing daycare for him so he would not be raised by strangers. She made Christmas absolutely magical with her creative flair for decorating - you could even see Santa landing in the fireplace. Jerry loved parties, square dancing with the Sundowners, playing cards with her friends, and large get-togethers at her cabin in Soda Springs. She adored her little rescue dog, Lucky. Family, friends and Lucky will miss her greatly. Friends are welcome for visitation on Wednesday, June 6, at Mount Vernon Memorial Park, at 8201 Greenback Lane, Fair Oaks from 4:00-8:00 PM, with the Rosary beginning at 6:00 PM. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, June 7, at Saint Rose of Lima Catholic Church at 615 Vine Street, Roseville. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jerry Corelli may be made to the American Stroke Association (1-888-478-7653).
