I Made lt Home
I just wanted to let you know I made it home.

Everything is so pretty here, so white, so fresh, so new. i wish that you could close your eyes so you could see it too.

Please try not to be sad for me.
Try to understand, God is taking care of me.Im in the shelter of His hands.

Here there is no sadness, and no sorrow and no pain. Here there is no crying, and Ill never hurt again.
Here it is so peaceful, when
all the angels sing. I really have to go nowIve just got to try my wings.

PS.Ill be the first face you see when you get here.

Chick and I worked together at CalPERS in Sacramento for a number of years, and later after retirement we connected via Facebook again. Chick had a great sense of humor and I have fond memories of the times we shared in the office. Yes, we should have worked ... but he always had interesting stories to share. RIP my friend, you will always be remembered.

I also wanted to add my own condolences to Chick's family. So very sorry to hear of his passing. My husband George was in the same USAFReserve unit as Chick. So I knew Chick through different social events that their unit would have (Christmas parties and Barbecue's) ect. What a fun guy and a nice guy...you knew you were going to smile if Chick was around! He was one of my favorites in George's Reserve unit. George and I both have the fondest memories of Chick and we wanted his family to know how much we thought of him. RIP Chick

Loved this guy! He was too much...too funny, too sarcastic!!! Even thought he hasn't been on the West coast for many years, I have a void in my heart!!!!

I don't remember Chick in school but we became e-mail friends much later. He had a great sense of humor. We traded lots of jokes. I miss him online. Rest well, my friend.

I'm still trying to process Chick's passing. He has such a beautiful soul and I will miss him a lot. What a great friend to have. What a great sense of humor to share. He fought the great fight with his illness and now he is pain free. I know that God welcomes him to the heavenly realm. I have Chick in my heart to remain forever.
