My sympathies to the Haas family for the passing of Mrs. Haas. I was a young boy (12 yrs.) when Mr. and Mrs. Haas lived across the street from us on Lucia Court in Ranch Cordova, Ca., in the early 1960's. Mr. and Mrs. Haas spent a lot of time with my parents and each other's homes. I still have very fond memories of the both of them as my parents and they became close friends. I mowed their lawn regularly for a couple of years. I once pulled what I thought to be a weed, but was a tropical plant that Mrs. Haas had brought back from a trip to Hawaii. It had a sentimental value. They handled it very well even though it was upsetting for them. They were my favorite neighbors for as long as I lived there. Nicest couple ever!
