Connie McLain Obituary

October 9, 1950 - May 25, 2017 Connie McLain was born October 9, 1950 in Billings, Montana and passed away on May 25, 2017 in Sacramento, CA. She passed peacefully in her home with loved ones near after a short battle with cancer. Connie was a strong and hard working woman. Connie spent every day of life showing kindness and compassion to others. Before retiring, Connie worked at UC Davis Medical Center as manager of patient escort for many years. She was a loving, warmhearted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. In a final act of selflessness, Connie donated her body to UC Davis body donation program. A memorial ceremony for all donors will be held at UC Davis in the fall. Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Katherine Cunningham. She is survived by her son Scott Jennings (Renee), granddaughter Kaylynn Jennings, and siblings Joanne (Ken) Freer, Patrick (Bonnie) Cunningham, Michael (Kathy) Cunningham, Mary (Doug Sanders) Cunningham, Colleen (Barry) Chorum, Charles (Troy Devine) Cunningham, and Donna (David) Blodgett. She will be forever in our hearts and greatly missed.

Dear Scott and family,
I am saddened to hear about your mom (Connie's) passing. We worked together many years ago in Pt Escort and she was the most kind, gentle spirited person I knew. May she rest in peace and may your memories be sweeter with every passing day. God bless....Teresa Porter
