North Highlands, California - Cordia Weems, 92, passed away on March 7, 2025, in North Highlands, California.
Born on June 29, 1932, in Clarksville, Arkansas, Cordia later moved to California, where she graduated from Richmond High School. In 1954, she married Jack E. Weems, with whom she built a loving family and shared many cherished years.
Cordia dedicated four decades of service to the U.S. Department of Agriculture before retiring. Beyond her professional life, she found joy in gardening and was deeply involved in her faith community at First Baptist Church - Southern in North Highlands. Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering support touched the lives of those around her.
She is survived by her sons, Michael and David; her daughter, Janet; grandsons Cameron and Colin; and her brother-in-law Kenneth. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Jack and her sisters Janice, Margie, Janelle, and Tomi.
A private memorial service will be held with family members.
Cordia's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.

Mrs. Cordia , Will be missed I met her at First Baptist Church in 1966 and we also were the treasury for many years together, and we did lots of projects together. we always keep in touch; she was great in the garden for sure she had a green thumb. I will miss her RIP my friend.
