Cw Nelson Obituary
Born in Esparto, CA he spent his childhood in Woodland, CA and graduated from Menlo College in Menlo Park, CA.
Buck was the son of Cliff & Cecilia Nelson. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Dan, and stepbrother Fred.
He is survived by his wife Sue, his sons Cliff and Mark (Vickie) his sister Normalee (David), and nieces & nephews.
He served in the U.S. Army deployed in Germany.
Buck was employed at Aerojet General for 33 years, supporting both the Minuteman and Apollo Space Programs.
After retirement he and his family relocated to Portland OR and later to Sunriver, OR.
Buck was an outdoorsman who crafted his own flies for fly fishing, a hunter, he carved duck decoys, painted wildlife, and traveled throughout the Pacific NW.
To honor his wishes no memorial will be held, as Buck has donated his body to medical science.
