Darrell Haag Obituary

Darrell Wilford Haag, 91 passed away in his home on January 9, 2018. He was born in Sacramento, graduated from Sacramento High School, served during WWII in General Patton's Third Army and retired from McClellan AFB. He is survived by Elva Fox Haag, his wife of 67 years and his 12 children, Darrell Haag, Jeanette Johnson, Jolene Kecher, Joyce Hollingsworth, Spencer Haag, Valerie Proctor, Veronika Jeppesen, Bonnie Bastian, Brenda Collette, Eileen Schmoekel, Heidi Goodman and Bradley Haag. He is also survived by his 70 grandchildren and his 71 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 1:00 pm with a viewing from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 3001 Wisseman Drive, Sacramento, CA 95826. Flowers may be sent to East Lawn Mortuary, 5757 Greenback Lane, Sacramento, CA by Friday 01/19/2018.

Peace be with Mrs. Haag in the loss of her husband and with all of the family. Mr. Haag was a very inspiring person and gentle and kind person who brought much joy and light to the world.
