Roseville, California - David Cormier, 73, passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2024, in Roseville, California.
Born on March 14, 1951, in Lynn, Massachusetts, David moved to California in the late 1970s, where he spent much of his life. A musician at heart, he began playing guitar as a child and taught himself piano in his late 60s. Music was a lifelong passion for David, as was his love for Boston sports - he was a particularly enthusiastic supporter of the Red Sox and Patriots. He also had a deep appreciation for classic rock music and delighted in bringing laughter and joy to those around him with his humor and warmth.
David is survived by his children: Chelsea and her husband Brenon of Rhode Island, and Sean and his partner Alissa of California. He is also lovingly remembered by his former wife and friend Cindy; his sisters Sharon, Linda, and Carol; as well as many nieces and a nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Cormier and Alice Cormier (née Slater).
David found happiness in life's simple pleasures - a child's smile or the playful antics of animals always brought him joy. In honor of his memory, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Ten Lives Cat Rescue of Rhode Island (tenlivescatrescue.org/donate).
Celebrations of David's life will be held at a later date. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.

He was a nice guy missed very much I had the pleasure of meeting him on Alissa graduation and we all went out to eat and I was happy to have met him and spend some time with him he was a great guys missed very much by many people I'll always remember him
