To Dave's family,
I can't put into words what he meant to me. I don't believe I'll ever be graced with a best friend like he was. In a wide see of sameness he stood out as unique in so many special ways. I'll never stop missing him.

Shalome, dear wife of Dave,
Our hearts and prayers are with you continually. We know of the sweet love you and your husband Dave shared, and deeply saddened and shocked at the trials you are going through along with your loss. Your Heavenly Father is saddened too that you have to endure this. Remember God does not care what your occupation is, what your assets are, He only cares how your relationships are with others. He is proud of you now. Whenever you came to our home, you spent long hours laughing on the phone with your husband. We know you are deeply missing him. We are sad at your loss. It is so sad that your time with him was cut short here on earth, but we know he will always be by your side in spirit, and always love you until that special someday you will be reunited.
Much love,
PJ

Dearest Gary, Barbara & Kerri,
My love and prayers are with you during these long days of sadness. I remember so well those beautiful blue eyes that David had. He shall remain in my mind as the boy with the beautiful, clear blue eyes, the son of my cousin - my brother, Gary. I love you, brother, and will never hesitate to say so, I'm only a call away. Take care of yourselves, and know that David is always near, in your heart, remember the good times, remember the love you all shared.
Love, Cousin Donna

To my dear family. This is a bittersweet time for you. David was a special man to all of us and will forever be missed. The Lord loved David no matter and was given a free gift as all of us have; the gift of salvation that none of us deserves. Truth by definition is being same as/equal to the original. The original being God. David knew this truth and I believe now is sitting at the right hand of Him. I love you all, family, and am praying for you constantly.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Eastman,
Words cannot express my sadness at the news of Dave's passing. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. I will never forget what a good friend he was to me and the many ways in which he made me laugh. I still have some of his figurines that he sculpted (my favorites being the track shoe complete with a Nike swish and a beaver next to a log) and whenever I look at them, I smile. I will never forget him. Not ever.

Dave was a hero. I was always happy to see him; I'll miss his wit and crazy, informed innocence. It's funny, because I was just thinking yesterday about skating with him behind the Post Office at Watt and El Camino. You left us too soon, my friend, but you'll always be with us.

I am deeply saddened by the news of David's untimely passing. I always admired his intelligence, humor, and thoughtfulness. I'm very fortunate to have had him as a friend. Although I will miss him greatly, I take solace in knowing his positive influence on my life will never die. Cheers, Dave. Your memory lives on.
