I loved avid and admired him so much. He was a brave man and a man of integrity. He experiences so much sorrow in his life with the passing of his brothers and sister. He fought and was wonded in Vietnam. Despite all the tragedy, he had one of the most positive attitudes of anybody I knew. He always had a big grin on his face. I used to go to Letterman Hospital in San Francisco to visit him while he was healing from his war wounds. I would walk over to his bed and there he was, big smile on his face. He would ask me how I was doing. Like, here is this brave soldier, wounded, asking me about how I was doing. Dave had a heart of gold. I believe the last time I saw Dave was in 1979. I was home on military leave and went to visit him in Fairfield. Carol, you are and were such a great wife and mom. You and Dave were blessed to find each other. Take care, Carol. You will be in my prayers. Beth, you are the strongest woman and mother I have ever known. You and my mom were friends from church (Mira Vista) She commented on your strength of heart and your inner courage. God be with you guys...MSG DAVID MIGLORIN, US ARMY (RETIRED)

We spent a lot of time together as kids. I always remember you as being a man of honor and of integrity. I also remember the great dinners your wife, Carol, would prepare for us as we played endless hands of Hearts or Spades. Go in Peace, my friend. I will never forget you..MSG David Miglorin (US ARMY, RET)

Very sorry to hear about Dave passing away. He was and remains such a good man. It was really a joy, and a lot of fun being neighbors back in the Fairfield, Ca days. I will always remember the good times with Dave and Carol. So sorry that he is gone.

David was a great guy who fought for our country with honor and suffered an terrible injury to his foot, leg and knee and he fought another brave fight against cancer. He was a loving husband of nearly 50 years, and a wonderful father to Jason and Tara. He loved his 2 beautiful grandchildren, David and Teagan. He loved his mom, Beth Koutz, very much. David will be missed by all of us. Love and prayer for the whole family. Cousin Phyllis

My heartfelt condolences to my Life long friend Carole and loving Family. I will forever remember Dave's contagious smile, his awesome sense of humor and of course his Sense of style. A class act and an honor to have known him for 50 plus years. He will be deeply missed and is flying high with all His Angels.
