Dean Dunann Obituary
February 27, 1952 - November 13, 2021
Sacramento, California - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of this wonderful man. Dean was born 2-27-1952 to Kirk and Elizabeth Dunann in Sacramento CA and passed on 11-13-2021.
Dean ran his own tax practice for over 42 years and had many clients who became friends. He was a very diligent worker and always worked to meet all their needs. He fought cancer for 2½ years but finally lost the battle.
Dean is survived by his children Megan, Ryann, Matthew, Kaitlin, Joshua, Noah, Nathanael, and Ethan. Dean was a loving and supportive Father. He also gave love and kindness to his stepsons, Nick and Cameron and their children and to Julie's parents.
Dean had been on hospice at home where he wanted to be with the love of his life, his wife Julie (Hauf) Dunann. Dean was one of the sweetest people we have every met and made Julie so happy. They did not spend a lot of years together (13), but they were years filled with adventure, fun, laughter, and lots of love.
Dean passed with his Bible in his hand and Julie by his side. He was not afraid because of his very great faith in the Lord. We were all blessed to know Dean and will remember this kind soul forever.
Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Dean's Life on Friday, January 7, at the Dante Club, 2330 Fair Oaks Blvd., Sacramento, CA 95825. The event will begin at 1:00 p.m.
Donations may be made to Kaiser Hospice Sacramento, 2025 Morse Avenue, Sacramento, CA 95825 in Dean's memory.

Dean was a great blessing in my life. I just found out about his passing ... and it saddens me in one way, but knowing that He is in the presence of our Lord Jesus, who makes all things new and right, gives me great comfort. He fought valiantly and with great faith and trust in Christ. I miss him greatly. Prayers for Dean's entire family.

Please accept my condolences in the passing of Dean. He was my family´s Tax advisor, preparer and friend. I always looked forward to our meeting where we talked about "life". Anything from ancestry to zebras. His faith in the Lord was unquestionable. The love for his family undeniably and his positive outlook was inspiring!

After the loss of my CPA Don Meyer in a tragic car accident Dean took over many of his accounts. Dean was caring for his mother, as I was caring for my Mom, and we got along famously. What a gentleman and man of the world he was. I will miss him...
