El Dorado Hills, California - Debra Simon passed on October 2nd at sunset surrounded by her family in El Dorado Hills, California. She made a determined fight against a determined cancer and now has finally found some well-deserved peace. Debra was born to Sam and Olga Kowalchuk in Toronto, Canada on October 15, 1955. She is survived by her husband Chris, her son Thain of Spokane, Washington and his wife Anna, her son Brock of Sacramento, California and his wife Cora, her grandchildren Scottie, Ava and Cullen, and her sister Linda of Toronto, Ontario. Debra owned a European fine tableware importing company, Argent Inc, in Canada and served a President of the Newcomers Club here in El Dorado Hills. But her most cherished accomplishment was raising two fine boys. A memorial service will be held for all her family and friends. Details to be confirmed.
