Sacramento, California - Delores Johnson passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 1, 2021. Delores was born on June 2, 1953, in Mobile, Alabama. She moved to Sacramento with her family in 1965, where she resided for 56 years. For most of her employment, she worked in Public Education as a yard duty supervisor, Secretary of Fairbanks Elementary School, and as Administrative Secretary of Educational Services in the Del Paso Heights Elementary School District. Delores continued her career in Public Education as a member of the Assessment and Accountability Division in the Twin Rivers Unified School District, prior to her retirement in June 2019. Delores is preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Jones. She leaves to cherish her memory 1 son, David Johnson; 1 daughter, Antionette Jones; 7 grandchildren, Dashi, Austin, Darion, Davon, Tristen, Aiden, and Tamera; 4 brothers and 4 sisters; and many other relatives and friends. – Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes, 4701 Marysville Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95838: Visitation August 19, 4-6:00 p.m.; Service August 20, 1:00 p.m.
