WHITE, Donovan
Donovan left this earth August 10, 2011. Survived by family, dear friends and his soulmate, Lisa. In Donovan's words 'Lisa was the one that almost got away, the love of my life.' The two met 12 1/2 years ago and when they were finally reunited, they planned to spend their lives together as husband and wife. Their journey had only began and ended much too soon. Because Donovan is so deeply missed and so well loved, all who knew him are invited to a Celebration of his life, which will be held at the XO Lounge, a place he and Lisa shared, this Sunday, August 28 2pm-5pm, 1400 Broadway, Sac, 95818.

I hope Donovan and Douglas are together up there....I hope that they are making people laugh and dancing and being the dorky hams they were. When I wrote my book, Donovan is in it....I hope that any locals who read "Faith Heal Love" know its my sweet friend who I miss so much. I hear Hootie and the Blowfish and think of him, Lenny Kravitz too...He was my protector at times after Douglas died and every birthday since they had birthday's next to each other I toast to him. I intend to write the next book with more of our time at The Union. I miss you my friend.

I never got to meet you Lisa, he called and wanted me to...but the timing was off. Donovan has been a good friend for nearly 20 years,I met him and my husband the same night together at the Union and later married my Aussie Douglas..they were quite a pair. My heart aches for you and I will forever miss my friend. I will be at XO in spirit and my prayers are with you. Donovan was always a part of my life, and there for me when Douglas died,I loved him like my brother.. Bless you dear.
