HOVDA, Dorothy A.
Passed away peacefully in Fairfield on Sunday, February 4, 2007. Beloved wife of Lorne. Cherished mother of Craig, Donald, Earl William, Lorne Jr., Todd and Robin, and also raised her grandchildren Samantha and Tony. Loving grandmother of 17, great grandmother of 8. Also survived by two sisters, one brother, and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her dear daughter, Teresa. Born September 17, 1935 in Ontario, Oregon. She was a foster mother to several children and would help anyone in need. Visitation will be held from 5:15 pm - 7:00 pm followed by a vigil service at 7:00 pm on Friday, Feb. 9th with a Funeral Mass on Saturday, Feb. 10th at 8:30 am, all at ST. LAWRENCE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 4325 Don Julio Blvd., North Highlands. Private burial at Sacramento Valley VA National Cemetery.

Larry and family: You are in my thoughts and prayers. John and I really liked Dot, she was a very sweet lady. John liked to give her a hard time Friday nights at bowling. Now that they are both in heaven they can give each other a hard time. Take care. Wanda
