Eileen Marsh

1926 - 2025

Eileen Marsh, 99 of Sacramento, completed her life journey and passed away peacefully on August 21st. Eileen was preceded in death by her loving husband Robert. She is survived by 7 children, 16 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Born Eileen Murphy in San Jose California. She grew up in San Francisco and married Robert in 1950. As an Air Force wife, she lived all over the Country while raising her family. Upon Robert's retirement from the Air Force in 1969 they moved to Sacramento to be closer to family.

While in Sacramento, they travelled extensively throughout California with favorite destinations in Napa and Lake Tahoe. After Robert passed in 1990 Eileen remained active and made several excursions to Asia and Europe with friends and family as well as multiple cruises. She always enjoyed games of all sorts including cards, slot machines, and puzzles. She particularly enjoyed Bingo with friends and family in her later years.

Eileen was an active member in the St. Anthony Parish family for many years. In her most recent years she was taken care of and will be missed by many, many wonderful caregivers at Maple Tree Village.

We will be celebrating Eileen's life Wednesday, September 17th from 5 p.m.-8 p.m., including viewing and a rosary. Catholic Funeral Mass to be held in her honor on September 18th at 10 a.m. Both services will be held at St. Mary Cemetery & Funeral Center 6509 Fruitridge Rd, Sacramento, CA 95820. Burial will follow Mass at St. Mary Cemetery. A reception will follow also at St. Mary Funeral Center.
