Loving daughter Linda

Mama,
I am so grateful for the time we had together the last 3 months of your life. Cancer took you far too young. It is a terrible disease. It was hard watching you struggle to breath. Our Hospice aids were such a wonderful group. They were so caring. They guided us and helped us help you; I would have fallen to pieces without them. I thank them all.
Mama I miss you so much. This lung cancer took you so fast, you were so scared. Three months is hardly enough time to come to terms with death. You/we thought you had months left. Keeping you company was what you really wanted and needed, holding your hand and talking to you calmed you, especially the last week when talking was so much work for you.
I am so grateful to have had Dave and Marguerite by my side, when you passed. It was the hardest thing I have had to face, I am so thankful we were there with you. I can’t believe you are gone. I love you very much and I miss you more.

My dear David, Peggy, Linda and Family,
Please know that each of you are carried in my heart with prayer and love. Your Mom and I became good friends over the past few years and were a true support to each other. She was a devoted Mom and wife. I miss her and know that you miss her more. She now is truly resting and I know she is smiling on all of us. My Mom now knows your Mom fully. We are now family. Thank you Eleanor for your goodness and dedication and friendship.
