Elsie Hyrkas Obituary
Elsie, a former resident of Sacramento, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2008 in Nampa, Idaho. She will be greatly missed by her husband, Walter Hyrkas, daughters, Kathy Gobbi (Michael) of Lincoln and Carolyn Crews (Buzz) of Reno, grandchildren Kenneth Gobbi, Gina Velasquez (Eric), Dustin Page, Ryan Kirkpatrick, Russell Kirkpatrick and Casey Cody, great-grandchildren Auburn Velasquez and Jordan Velasquez, sisters Melva Mitchel and Mary Jane Snyder and brother Ted Abken. Elsie was preceded in death by daughter Connie Hyrkas-Page. Elsie touched the lives of many people and will be deeply missed.

Dear Hyrkas family.
I ran across this and don’t even know how I found it. In 2008, my husband and I moved to El Dorado Hills and lived there for 10 years. I looked up your parents but could t locate anyone. Carolyn, your dad is embedded in my memories forever. I saw both of them about 30 years ago on a visit with Cindy Miniachi.
