Emmett Clower Obituary

CLOWER, Emmett Clair
On January 3, 2007, Emmett Clower went peacefully to be with his Lord following an extended battle with Parkinson's Disease. Emmett was 88 years old, born on July 24, 1918 in Hobart OK. Emmett was preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 years, Elaine. Emmett was the beloved father of Celia McFarland (Bill) and Coez Bradshaw (Richard); grandfather of Adorea Agahi, Cassandra Lichnock, Emmett Bradshaw and Coez Bradshaw; great-grandfather of Farrah Agahi, Fallon Agahi, Monique Baxter and Kayla Baxter; brother of Virgil Clower, Mildred Karver, D.M. Clower, and Viola Winter. Preceded in death by his parents, D.M. Clower and Linnie Laird; and sister Helen Robertson. Emmett was an adored husband, father and grand pappy. He was a plumber for 35 years, a retired member of the Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Union Local 447, and a past member of the Order of Elks. Friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Tuesday, Jan. 9 at 11 a.m. at Green Valley Mortuary, Green Valley & Bass Lake Roads, Cameron Park. Interment will be immediately following the services in Green Valley Cemetery in Cameron Park.

Emmett was a true friend or more like a brother to me for ovewr 60 years. I will miss him but I do know that we shall meet again
