FLETCHER, Eugene "Geno"
Peacefully passed away surrounded by family on November 20, 2008. Beloved husband of Naomi Cooper Fletcher; loving father of Yendell Fletcher (Tammy) and Kimonnie Fletcher. Survived by 7 brothers and sisters: Odell Fletcher, Tom Fletcher, Jewel Irons, Freddie Fielder, Gladys Kennedy, Bradie Fletcher and M.C. Butcher. Friends are welcome for visitation on Saturday November 29th, 12-4pm at MORGAN JONES CHAPEL OF CHIMES, 4200 Broadway. Homegoing celebration Monday December 1st, 11am at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 1075 Roanoke Avenue. Interment Camellia Memorial Lawn.

Eugene - I'll always remember our days at McClatchy High School. Meeting at "Boot Corner", basketball at noon, the "exlax caper", variety shows, sports, an oh yea-classes. We will miss you.

Yes, Geno has gone to be with the Lord. I find peace in comfort in knowing that He loved the Lord. I am praying for his family and ask that you pray for me.
