Francine Aguirre Obituary

Francine Aguirre
January 15, 1951 - November 3, 2021
Sacramento, California - Francine Chris Aguirre (Ferderer) was born in Sacramento on January 15, 1951 and passed away on November 3, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Frances Ferderer and her sisters Maria Ferderer and Carolyn Baldassano.
Francine is survived by her son Timothy (Myrna) Aguirre, grandson Nicolas Aguirre, her sister Marolyn (Chuck) Olver, and brother Carl Ferderer Jr.
Francine attended All Hallows Catholic grammar school, Hiram Johnson High School and Sacramento City College. At an early age, she helped at her parent's family-owned grocery store on 14th Avenue and then later became an airline stewardess for Continental Airlines where she traveled the world and always met interesting people. She later went to work for the State of California where she retired with over 25 years of service.
Francine had an amazing passion for crocheting. She made hundreds, if not thousands, of beautiful blankets, scarves, hats, and other various crafts made of yarn. She and her son would travel to senior care homes and donate the crafted items as gifts during the holidays to brighten spirits and to also make room at home for her next crocheting projects. She also loved a good word game and would always challenge friends and family to a game of Scrabble or Upwords.
The family would like to give a special thanks to all the wonderful caregivers at MJP Care Home who helped take such good care of her the last few years of her life.
She will be greatly missed and live in our hearts forever.

I met Francine through her sisters Marolyn and Carolyn. She babysat for me in her teen years. She was so kind and responsible..
I haven´t seen her in years but I often think of her.

I worked many years with Francine at the Department of Corrections. To this day I still have a Sylvester tissue holder she made me. Always the sweetest person who care about others. My sincere condolences.
